I am a highly experienced Development Producer with a strong track record of delivering ground-breaking ideas and shows to Broadcasters as well and SVOD services such as Curiosity Stream, All4 and Netflix. My skillset includes pitching projects and closing commissions, originating ideas and creating formats and finding new talent.
I am absolutely passionate about making shows that first make you laugh, and then make you think. Bending and manipulating genres so the audience can learn through laughter and passive learning, coming at topics from the most leftfield and creative places to mould some of the most talked about TV shows.
I’ve a creative brain with a track record of several original ideas commissioned from various broadcasters including Channel 5, Channel 4, ITV, BBC2 and BBC3. These programmes have been a mixture of specialist factual, factual, documentary, entertainment, comedy-ent and Fact Ent.
Most recently I have been at the newly created LA-based Gunpowder and Sky, helping them set up a UK division, guiding them through British Fact Ent and Factual genres.
