On top of my Team Assistant role, I now provide administrative and personal support to the company's Global CTO and UK MD, which includes various responsibilities. I manage their diaries, handle all their travel and expenses, as
well as companywide email announcements. Moreover, I book restaurants for client entertainment and support
them with client correspondence, proof-reading documents and liaising with senior clients and agency heads.
Providing support with all manner of administrative duties and processing the Partners, and other senior members,
expenses was a vital responsibility. I assisted with diary management across the senior management team, ensured
all senior management meetings were booked, with all necessary equipment and presentations. I coordinated all
company travel (flights/hotels) and assisted senior members with VISA applications. I also provided cover when the EA and other PA's were on holiday and took on management of the companywide email announcements.
I managed the head office switchboard, facilitated meeting rooms across 3 offices & ensured equipment was
working correctly. Keeping office and stationary supplies stocked was a regular responsibility as well as providing
administrative support to the facilities team, such as raising purchase orders. I booked taxis and couriers where
necessary, was the main contact for meeting and greeting guests in the office, worked alongside the Head Runner to support smooth running of the office, as well as working flexible hours to ensure all tasks were completed.
This job aided my ability to think on my feet and be a person who can work flexibly, effectively and on my own
initiative. My people skills were strengthened and I learned about the importance of presentation and communicating articulately.
I waitressed in the cafe, as well as working in their events hall, which improved my ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.
I helped raise awareness for all the plant and animal life that lived in Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park, which
strengthened my communication skills and my ability to work as part of a team. We created our own slogan,
Facebook website and company cards which I feel expressed my can-do attitude.
I coordinated a fast and efficient way of collecting and packing all donations. Being organised and reliable was key,
especially during busy periods.
