Full time Audio Visual / Display Business Development Client Services Executive Management Producer / Production

Personal Summary - Optional

I’m a senior level producer with over 16 years experience making entertainment, documentaries, comedy and other unscripted shows for the major UK channels and SVODs, over which time I feel I've built up a sharp instinct and understanding of what it takes to make a truly great show which chimes with the audience.

At heart I'm an enthusiastic collaborator, team player, passionate about working on creatively challenging shows, fostering long term relationships within the industry.

I've been lucky enough to have worked across a wide variety of genres from chatshows, docu series such as Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All (Disney+), through to large scale live events such as Comic and Sport Relief; shiny floor Saturday Night family gameshows (Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow) to live music shows (Sounds Like Friday Night), the very first series of Top Gear's spin off show Extra Gear, as well as smaller budget panel shows for the likes of Comedy Central.

I've established a valuable network of contacts across the industry  that would allow me to foster great relationships with production companies and clients to nurture new content.

I've taken shows through every stage of production, from pitch dec assembly, sustained development, to office (and Zoom!) run throughs, through to pilots, core production and right through to Post and delivery and I feel this experience and understanding is crucial to many aspects of the role in question.

I’ve got extensive contacts and good relations within the industry from agents to writers, commissioners and fellow producers and above all know the value of maintaining them and what that entails.

I relish the chance to ongoingly champion diversity both on and off screen and encouraging a range of perspectives to be reflected in the shows being made. I am a very inclusive person in my broader approach to work and I've never recruited a team for a production in my senior years without diversity being at the forefront. I have worked regularly with the team at Mama Youth, for example, to ensure we seed new and under represented backgrounds.
