Personal Summary - Optional

As an excited young Filmmaker and graduate of BA Hons Film Production at the University of Portsmouth, I am an experienced short film Producer/Writer, but the practical application of these skills requires development due to the interruption to my studies during the Covid-19 Pandemic and the fact that in my final year I focused on more theory-based modules because I was aware that the access to equipment and facilities would be limited, for that reason I am eager to develop my skills in either of these areas to a significant level.

For a flavour of my work (as a Writer/Director/Producer), I am linking my Filmmaking-Showreel for your viewing;

Furthermore, I am capable of;

  • Adapting to new and experimental ways of doing things.
  • Maintaining team morale when reaching a set deadline
  • Interacting with all people in a friendly and encouraging manner.
  • Distilling a complex issue to its key components to provide a simple explanation.
  • Making a scrumptious Cup of tea, stellar coffee and “The best Hot Chocolate” (according to my university flatmates).

Since, completing University in July, I have been working in the TV and Film production industry as an SA (Supporting Artiste), I have worked on a number of high profile productions including; Casualty, Sandition, The Outlaws and Havoc. As well as this, I have been working on my own projects, such as; writing short films and evolving my acting skills through weekly classes. During this time, I developed the ability to work independently, set deadlines for myself, seek work where it wasn’t initially offered and network with industry professionals.

For more details about my experience and achievements, please review my attached Filmmaking CV (with Professional CV also available, on request). If you have any questions or would like more clarification on my experience, please contact me via email or phone.
