I am currently studying a Master of Arts Degree in Television Production at
the Universal of Central Lancashire and I am due to graduate in July 2021. I
have a combined total of 7 years working in a variety of industries this has
given me a wealth of skills including customer service skills, administrative
skills e.g. recording minutes and most recently am extremely interested in
developing a career in television and I am happy to learn about the industry
from the ground up. - I consent to this CV being stored under GDPR 2010.
Key Skills
Booking Contributors and Talent - I have experience researching and casting
contributors as during my MA Television Production Degree, I have been a
Producer for a Disability Documentary and a Casting Producer for an
independent film review show, for both of these roles I was required to
research and cast contributors and talent for the shows.
Producing Documentaries - I have experience producing as during my MA
Television Production Degree I have produced my own documentary about
my experiences of Autism Spectrum Disorder and how just because you
have a disability, doesn't mean you have to let it get in your way of your
hopes and dreams. As part of this role, I thought of the initial idea, I chose
the crew for the show, I created the running order, obtained location
permissions, researched talent and contributors, help created the script and
co-edited the footage as well and also helped film the documentary as well.
Filming. - I have experience using the Canon C100, which was the principal
camera we used to film Beyond: Disabilities. As we only had access to a
small crew, there were some days where I also fulfilled the role as a camera
operator, this involved me setting up the cameras, booking the equipment
and film the scenes correctly, under the direction of the Director of
Photography.
Key document creation and distribution - As part of the roles on the shows I
am involved with, one of the tasks is to risk assess locations for filming.
