Job Description

The Creative Solutions Leader will jointly oversee Creative and Content Solutions with the Content Solutions Leader to set the agenda and oversee the creation and delivery of content and creative solutions for our customers. 

 
Basic salary starting from £119,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience.
 
JOB PURPOSE

The Creative Solutions Leader will work collaboratively to design and bring to market proactive initiatives, using the strategy and creative specialisms to enhance these initiatives.

The Leaders will embrace the value of collaboration and encourage a culture that prioritises working together for shared success, working across multiple teams, both within Sales and the wider organisation, to drive innovative and effective creative and content solutions for our customers. The Leaders recognise the significance of a unified customer view and champion customer service as a top priority. The Leaders will demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and approach problem-solving creatively, leveraging internal and external networks for solutions. Cultivating a culture that celebrates saying yes and finding opportunities even in challenges. Collaboration is key between the two leaders, emphasising creativity and commerciality equally.

The Creative Solutions Leader, reporting directly to the Head of Sales, London,  leads and guides a team comprising L2, M grade, P1, and P2 grade members. The Creative Solutions Leader oversees the creative direction and execution of all projects within the Creative Solutions team.  Playing a pivotal role in shaping the overall creative vision, managing and mentoring a team of creatives and strategists and production and project experts. The Leader works closely with the Snr Creative and Strategy Lead to apply strategy and insight across our broader partnerships and customer and client engagement through initiatives such as 4Sight and Altogether Sessions.

The Leader ensures the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions aligned with the company's objectives. Through effective leadership, the Creative Solutions Leader aims to create a strong and efficient team, ensuring that the creative direction is delivered and translated by the team. This role requires smart planning, clear communication, and proactive management to succeed in the competitive world of Creative Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Leadership:
  • Develop and maintain the overall creative and strategic vision for the team
  • Provide strategic and creative direction for projects, ensuring alignment with brand objectives
  • Work alongside Content Solutions Leader and CCLs to navigate the balance between creative and commercial
  • Drive the creative reputation of C4 by delivering award winning, effective work for our partners
  • Ensure our partnerships with brands fit with our new Fast Forward strategy.
 
Team Management:
  • Supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of creatives and strategists, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
  • Provide guidance on creative projects, ensuring team members meet deadlines and deliver exceptional work
  • Oversee a team of production and project managers (L2,M), ensuring all projects are tracked and delivered in line with the creative vision, managing risk and mitigating risks to deadlines; taking ultimate responsibility if project timelines do not meet expectations.
 
Project Oversight:
  • Oversee the team to deliver creative projects from concept to completion 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure creative alignment with marketing and business goals.
 
Client Interaction:
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and presenting creative solutions effectively
  • Participate in client pitches, presentations, and negotiations as a creative representative.
 
Innovation and Trends:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative innovations
  • Integrate new and creative ideas into project strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
 
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or similar leadership role within a creative agency or similar
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful creative campaigns and projects
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, translating ideas into actionable plans
  • Have a proven track record in selling to managing agency stakeholders and managing customer relationships.
