Job Description

A+E Networks EMEA are looking for a talented and adaptable Creative Versioning Operator to join our dynamic and award-winning Creative team. 

About the role and the team

This new position will play a crucial role in packaging and transforming our promotional assets to meet our diverse range of platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical proficiency and a creative mindset to ensure compelling and effective versions of our content.

The Creative Team is responsible for the development and execution of a range of content for A+E Networks EMEA. The team devise and deliver all the on-air and off-air campaigns, short form, branding and promos for Sky History, The History Channel international, Crime + Investigation, BLAZE our streaming services, History PLAY and CI PLAY and our FAST channels – Mystery TV, Inside Crime, World War TV, Deal Masters and History Hunters.

This is a permanent position. This role will be hybrid based in the London office, working on exciting, award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY and Crime+Investigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Versioning

  • Produce and manage multiple versions of media content; create promo end-board projects in After-FX, package promos with final audio and graphics in Premier Pro, add tune-in messages, QC and deliver to Broadcast Operations for UK and EMEA (English) channels
  • Work with our in-house broadcast and asset management systems
  • Provide promo versions for partner platforms and services, including Fast brands.

Formatting

  • Format creative promotions and assets for social media in a range of aspect ratios, making amendments to visuals and adding sub-titles, where required. Supply and upload to various platforms, including paid media agencies.

Technical Expertise

  • Use After-Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro to manipulate content and create output
  • Support the training of the Creative Operations Assistant.

Quality Control

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all versions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to creative standards.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Creatives, Designers, Production & Operations teams to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.

Deadline Management

  • Manage project timelines effectively to deliver high-quality versions on time
  • Oversee the Creative Operations Assistant and the allocation of work.

File Management

  • Organise and maintain creative assets and project files for easy access and reference.

You will have…

  • Experience in Premiere Pro and After-FX in post-production or within a creative team
  • Experience and knowledge in formatting and exporting creative assets
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to innovate while adhering to project requirements and guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
