Job Description

We are seeking a senior-level Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Program Management.  This position will work closely with a cross-functional team of software engineers, hardware design engineers, quality assurance engineers, product managers, manufacturing partners and others to get products developed, tested and released on schedule.

 

You will be responsible for managing overall program schedules, communications with manufacturing partners and providing project status to a wide audience within Roku.

 

The successful candidate will be an energetic team player, who can expertly manage high volumes of detail and thrives on managing multiple simultaneous programs.

 

Roku pioneered streaming for TV, and we aspire to power every TV in the world.   Roku opened its European R&D centre in 2014 to support the development of new and existing products, it is located on the Cambridge Science Park.

 

Experience/Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program management
  • Engineering background with an excellent understanding of HW and SW
  • Extensive experience in consumer products or other high-volume products
  • Solid understanding of product development lifecycles
  • Significant experience working and communicating with JDMs/ODMs/OEMs/CMs
  • Working closely with internal development and QA teams to ensure manufacturing milestones are met
  • Hands-on experience at overseas manufacturing facilities
  • Proficient at creating, tracking and reporting on complex development schedules
  • Capacity to own and execute multiple programs simultaneously
  • Proficient in Oracle Agile PLM or similar software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline required

  • Must have good organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
  • Willingness to travel internationally at least 4 to 6 times a year
