Production / Post Production Assistant

We are looking for a Production / Post-Production Assistant to join our small but expanding Creative Agency.

You will be working across all elements of production from concept to filming through to Post-Production and delivery.

THE ROLE

Working closely with the Producer, the role will predominantly cover Post-Production duties but with elements of Production as well.

The candidate will be part of a team responsible for creating engaging and dynamic content for our clients in styles suitable for various platforms and purposes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:

• Work closely with the Producer across all aspects of Production and Post-Production
• Data wrangling, backing up media correctly & safely
• Transcoding of all daily rushes
• Ensure all footage gets to Editors and GFX teams in a timely manner
• Liaise with clients to ensure all assets are in house before Post-Production begins
• Manage project archive database
• Take on ad hoc edit projects
• Assist editors
• Assist on shoots
• Some international travel required
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Media Encoder & Da Vinci Resolve
• Proficiency in additional Adobe Suite applications would be an advantage
• The role is office based in Cambridge.

THE PERSON

You will have at least 2 years' experience in a Post-Production environment with a strong interest in the end-to-end process of content creation.

You must be extremely competent working in Adobe Premiere Pro with examples or a show reel to demonstrate this.

The successful candidate must be able to work within a close-knit team but also be confident to work individually, solving tasks to push the business forward.

You will be a natural problem solver with a strong work ethic and a passion for end-to-end Production.
