The opportunity is for a Group Enterprise Architect, to join our new Group Architecture team. This is not a BAU enterprise architecture role but a “green field” opportunity for a practitioner who is keen to be part of building something new.

What you'll do:

Working as part of the Group Architecture team you will:

• help to define and deliver Sky’s evolving enterprise architecture in this highly federated, fast paced, innovative, agile organisation

• work across Sky’s territories & functions to support business & technology leaders in understanding, monetising and operationalising existing, new and emerging technologies

• help to guide the enterprise through transformation and optimisation initiatives within our enterprise agile framework, in the process helping Sky delight our customers, grow revenue, optimise costs and mitigate risks

• develop IT strategy, target architectures, architecture tooling and methods, governance, innovation and technology optimisation across the group.

What you'll bring:

You are a naturally collaborative, inquisitive, ambitious, energetic, “hands on”, self-starter with a real passion for Enterprise Architecture. Likely you will have had extensive experience in all or most of the following:

• performing an EA role in an organisation with multiple divisions or business units

• working with business & technology leadership and multiple stakeholders to deliver Enterprise Architecture at a portfolio level, aligning commercial and IT strategy, ideally within a SAFe context

• architecture and design governance, business case development and strategic planning

• background in business transformation, change and/or enterprise technology environments within a large end-user organisation or consultancy

• detailed and up-to-date knowledge of at least one enterprise technology domain, such as integration, digital or cloud

• working with other enterprise functions to develop capabilities and deliver strategic outcomes, such as risk, cyber, service management, finance, devops, etc.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
