Sky Italia is looking for a highly qualified Digital Solution Architect to join our team in IT Digital Channels Platform area. This position offers an extraordinary opportunity to lead technological initiatives and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our digital products.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance software and system architectures for applications and services, emphasizing modularity and reusability.
Provide technical guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure solutions align with business goals, security standards, and industry best practices.
Lead advanced design and development activities, ensuring the adoption of best practices and the latest technologies.
Guide and mentor members of the development team, contributing to their growth and project success.
Actively participate in evaluating and implementing new technologies and solutions.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure integration and interoperability of designed solutions, with an emphasis on code reuse.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Solution Architect and/or Principal Engineer in complex projects.
Advanced skills in solution architecting, with knowledge of most common architectural design patterns
Experience in software design and development, with knowledge of modern programming languages.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Established experience in designing and implementing solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and GDPR compliance.
Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring modularity, scalability, and a focus on reusable components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and results-oriented mindset.
Leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Nice to Have:
Front-end development experience, with skills in technologies such as Angular for web applications and Kotlin/Swift for mobile development.
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Familiarity with tools like Confluence, draw.io and plantUML for formalizing and documenting solutions.
