A Bit About The Role

  • Manage all aspects of event coordination and oversee all event deadlines, including: contract negotiation, accommodations, staffing, coordination of registration, audio/visual requirements, and onsite logistics
  • Develop and maintain the event project plan and objectives, and timelines
  • Manage budget; track ROI
  • Oversee timely execution of all programs, including production of graphics and communications (internal and external)
  • Provide post show/event reports with analysis in a timely manner
  • Provide research with recommendations as directed
  • Manage staffing at assigned events, including scheduling in a professional manner
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with corporate and field executives; delivering extraordinary customer service to all stakeholders involved
  • Follow company finance and legal review procedures
  • Process all required internal forms; i.e SOW’s purchase req’s
  • Provide onsite support at tradeshows/events where needed
  • Ensure all logistical details including room set-up, staging, audio visual, transportation, housing, food and beverage, signage and other special needs for meetings are planned effectively, executed well and within budget

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years previous experience managing corporate event budgets
  • 3-5 years Advance level skills in all Microsoft office products with solid skills using spreadsheets and PowerPoint
  • Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 pounds) as directed by event needs
  • Ability to travel and work outside of normal business hours due to conference schedules; could be up to 35% travel

  • Ability to deal with fast-paced dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • Professional, clear and concise level writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and remain flexible and energetic
  • Ability to manage multiple events concurrently
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on objectives and direction with minimal supervision, in high profile situations
