What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist at Ateliere, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive company culture while supporting our talented employees. Reporting to the head of HR, you will collaborate on various aspects of human resources management, ensuring that our organization remains a great place to work and grow. You will collaborate closely with department heads and employees to provide strategic HR guidance and support the company's goals and objectives while ensuring policies and processes are communicated and adhered.

Where You Will Be Contributing

  • Employee Engagement and Culture: Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement and support the company's culture. Organize team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and events that foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie. Actively contribute to maintaining a positive work environment where diversity, inclusion, and collaboration are valued.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee morale through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. In partnership with your manager, develop and implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a fair and equitable workplace. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance and mitigate risks. Provide timely employee communication and ensure employees are adhering to policies.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate workshops or seminars on topics such as diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and performance improvement.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process for various positions within the organization, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries and assist employees with enrollment, changes, and claims resolution.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HRIS and other data analytics tools to generate reports and analyze HR metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recruitment, retention, turnover, and other HR-related metrics.


What Qualifications You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources management, preferably in SaaS, technology and/or live television production, studio production, post-production would be helpful and preferred
  • Knowledge of startup/small business and will thrive in supporting a high performing team
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly in California and Utah
  • Experience with talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with employees at all levels of the organization, including executive team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications

The expected annual pay range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
