We are looking for an individual with a passion for data and a love of television. The Measurement Partner position will be an exciting opportunity to work in a cross-functional and client-facing role at an exciting and fast-growing startup. 

This role supports the operations of publisher and platform channel sales and a vertical measurement business in close partnership with both the Sales and Product Management teams by providing audience measurement, consumer insights, campaign optimization, and strategic research support. This role will be responsible for reporting and performance evaluation of advertiser campaigns, in addition to contributing towards greater ad sales research initiatives for Samba. 

As a Measurement Partner, you will work directly with clients (focusing on publishers & platform customers, with exposure to our agency and brand partners) and cross-functional teams to create and deliver research studies to a wide variety of industries & verticals. Measurement insights cover ad effectiveness, audience measurement, and multi-touch attribution use cases. Our insights help brands, agencies, and publishers make data-driven decisions that directly impact media spend, planning, and customer acquisition. In addition to duties involved with reporting, you will have an opportunity to work with product, engineering and finance teams to help design new products and create more efficient processes. Most importantly, you enjoy working with clients to best serve their research needs and help grow strategic partnerships.



  • Providing leadership oversight to clients while focused on setting up and delivering world class ad effectiveness measurement 
  • Provide planned and proactive campaign-specific insights to drive business decisions and strategy
  • Lead multiple research studies at once and manage deliverables and timelines
  • Operate as the lead project manager for multiple engagements at once from initial scoping to implementation and final delivery
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement and execute studies
  • Communicate with clients, agencies, and publishers to ensure all study materials are collected and implemented appropriately
  • Review and analyze large datasets to create and present data-driven insights and investment recommendations to your clients
  • Develop narratives for findings; drafting reports, meta-analyses, and proposals for new opportunities with existing clients
  • Work with Data Scientists and self-service tools to ensure data output meets objectives, timelines, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evolve research products and processes
  • Support sales with the development of strong positioning stories to highlight the value of our measurement opportunities
  • Educate internal and external teams on the benefits and capabilities of Sambas suite of measurement products

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, marketing, psychology, statistics or related area of study
  • 3-5 years previous work in client service oriented measurement role
  • Experience in digital or TV advertising research a plus
  • Experience in TV and/or Digital media a plus
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Ad Tech Industry, Media, Campaign Management
  • Experience with SQL, R/Python or similar data tools
  • Experience working within Salesforce, Jira, Asana, or other CRM and/or project management tools 


Bonus Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Nielsen, Rentrak, and Kantar Insights
  • Deep knowledge of one or more client verticals
  • Knowledgeable across multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UI/UX, sales, customer success, finance, and marketing
  • Experience with sophisticated statistical models and advanced measurement methodologies
