Job Description

DAZN Media is the media division of live sports OTT service DAZN. As our new Brand Strategy Manager, you serve as a trusted consultant with partners consistently bringing them creative, solution-oriented ideas and products to meet their business challenges as well as goals and objectives.
 
You will be using your organisation and communication skills effectively but most of all - you will be passionate about sport and delivering the very best service to all stakeholders.
 
As Brand Strategy Manager at one of the biggest sales houses in the DACH region, you will work closely with all departments within the DAZN universe as well as with external partners to maximize advertising revenue. Your responsibilities will include the Go-to-Market Strategy and the implementation and execution of innovative new products & hero projects. You will lead  DAZN's relationships with blue chip brands to create client-focused concepts and solutions.
 
This role is based in Munich.

As our new Advertising Strategy Manager (m/f/d), you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work very closely with the sales team and support to deliver sales and revenue targets against all DAZN products (OTT, YouTube, Podcast etc.)
  • Work very closely with all relevant DAZN functions including content team, rights team, marketing team and operations team
  • Create proactively concepts and Go-to-Market ideas and present them to external partners
  • Serve as a trusted consultant with partners consistently bringing them creative, solution-oriented ideas, products, and content concepts to meet their business challenges as well as goals and objectives
  • Develop and drive business cases to satisfy client’s needs
  • Research and develop market insights and competitor evaluation
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of DAZN Group’s advertising products and solutions

You'll have:

  • Experience within the media industry, ideally TV/OTT and a real passion for sport
  • Existing relationships with marketing stakeholders of the biggest advertisers
  • Track record to create and execute creative hero projects and branded content concepts
  • Project management and account management skills, always revenue & KPI driven
  • Excellent Power Point skills
  • Proficiency to work under tight deadlines to develop and execute deal elements
  • Proactive attitude and knows how to drive duties across the finish line
  • Capability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with a goal-oriented culture
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in German and in English
