What you'll do
You will be part team using an automation first approach to testing Sky Q.
- Understand the architecture of the product being tested.
- Review & understand the code to be tested.
- Carry out tests where a manual simulation is required.
- Carry out tests using automation scripts & automation tools.
- Analyse and log issues, and providing appropriate feedback.
- Support technical investigations.
What you’ll bring
- Domain knowledge in video product.
- Testing experience in video product.
- Experience of using defect tracking tools such as Jira, QC etc.
- Attention to detail – Being detail oriented is required as you will test Products to find ways to improve them and isolate problems.
- Communication – Strong verbal & written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors.
- Experience of Python and automation tools.
- Experience of advanced automation testing approach would be beneficial.
- Hand on automation testing experience would be beneficial.

Your office space
Osterley
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
