A Bit About The Role

The Regional Sales Manager has overall responsibility for the sales of Imagine Communications Products and Services in defined territories. The region includes accounts in Germany and Switzerland. Management of accounts in other countries may be required.

 

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will manage the relationship with customers & partners, drive sales activities by leveraging resources to maximize revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Taking ultimate responsibility for commercial negotiations, in this role you are accountable for all aspects of the sales cycle, including participating in drawing up detailed quotations in collaboration with a number of cross functional teams.

 

  • Achievement of revenue targets.
  • Ownership of the entire sales cycle, coordinating and drawing on assistance from Technical Pre-sales, Bid Management and other operational areas as required.
  • Manage relationship at management and operational levels with customers and partners.
  • Understand the customer needs / expectations and decision making process.
  • Promote features and benefits of Imagine’s Playout and Networking portfolio of products.
  • Present proposals, manage negotiations and close the sales deal.
  • Map product solutions to customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline to manage priorities and provide forecasts
  • Gain strategic information about customers and the market
  • Participation in trade shows, client conferences, industry events, etc.

About You

  • Fluent spoken and written German and English.
  • Good understanding and experience of the broadcast and production markets.
  • Proven track record of identifying and qualifying opportunities.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Excellent technical knowledge to understand and interpret customer requirements.
  • Track record of building relationships with clients at all levels, inspiring trust and credibility.
  • Ability to present a proposal to both business and technical C-level customer audiences.
  • You are a good listener of customer needs and at the same time, handle objections and influence the outcome to create a solution that ensures success for both the customer and the business.
