Avid is looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst! This role entails gathering, organizing, researching, and evaluating data to offer timely status, feedback, or means for action. Your success in the role will be a function of proper scheduling, accommodating ad-hoc requests, handling requirements of increasing complexity, and providing input on suggestions for improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Extract data from our SAP ERP system to gather supply chain MRP elements including, but not limited to material master information, on hand inventory, in transit inventory, open/closed purchase orders, open/closed customer sales orders, and reorder point information.
- Extract customer billings, inventory outflows, and sales order backlog from Domo business intelligence software.
- Use data extracted to calculate, prepare, analyze, and summarize supply allocation reports, supply shortage reports, reorder point exception reports, reorder point spend presentations, SAP/Domo comparisons, categorical inventory presentations, and material master update reports.
- Pull SAP extracts to support data cleansing and migration to NetSuite.
- Make use of MS Word and Visio/Lucid Chart applications to create, improve upon, or change procedures.
- Identify and communicate improvement opportunities by way of analysis performed.
- Publish supply chain KPI’s on a quarterly basis to allow for team performance review.
- Maintain work instructions for all reporting to allow for periodic review, education, or use by others.
- Maintain Excel workbooks and macros used for reorder point and safety stock bin resizing.
- Maintain, refresh, and publish ~ 30 reports which support the supply chain organization.
Who you are:
- You have at least 1-2 years of professional experience in a role using data analytics.
- You have an advanced level of use of MS Office Applications with emphasis in MS Excel (including macros, VBA).
- You are assertive, a self-starter, and welcome challenge.
- An experience in Supply chain operations is a plus.
- Experience extracting data from ERP and Business Intelligence applications. SAP and Domo applications is a plus.
- MS Office & Data Analysis Certificates are a plus.
