Job Description

We're looking for a creative, middleweight Graphic Designer to join our Bauer Create team in Scotland.

Your primary role will be to deliver outstanding, imaginative and effective visual marketing content, advertising assets and brand development work for our deep client roster.

As a Designer, you’ll be an integral part of the Create team and will work closely with our Creatives, Producers and Project Managers to create content and advertising that makes an impact. 

 

Our Team 

 

The Bauer Create team devise and produce multi-channel advertising campaigns and creative content solutions for our commercial clients across the UK. 

Our work lives on platforms like Radio, TV, Social, Web, Print and Outdoor – and we operate as an integrated in-house content agency called Bauer Create. This team deliver Creative, Digital and Branded Content solutions to clients regionally across the UK.

We deal with a large roster of clients from across Scotland and the North of England, and work alongside the regional sales team from brief-take, to pitch and execution. 
 


You’ll be responsible for

 

  • Art direction & visual ideation on specific client projects & campaigns.
  • Creating visual advertising assets for client brands across the UK.
  • Visual brand development projects alongside a Creative Strategist and/or Copywriter.
  • Ensuring our visual creative work is fully integrated with larger creative campaign direction across platforms.
  • Prepare pitch collateral for key client pitches.

 

What you will bring

 

Our ideal candidate is a passionate, skilled, creative Graphic Designer with a thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

Whether it’s branded social content, Print, OOH advertising, or full visual brand development  you’ll be passionate about making it the best it can be, and eager to contribute across the full creative process.

The ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a time sensitive environment is at the heart of everything you’ll do in this role, so you’ll also bring:

 

  • Grow and maintain great working relationships with other Creatives in the team (copywriters, motion designers, producers, musicians etc)
  • Manage a busy workload and project deadlines.
  • Experience working with commercial clients and creating marketing content for brands.
  • Experience working on brand/branding projects (Research, Strategy, TOV, AudioVisual Identity).
  • A confident ‘can-do’ attitude to the creative process.
  • A keen eye for detail and art direction.
