The Senior Programmatic Consultant role is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical acumen and client-facing skills at the cutting edge of the CTV and programmatic landscape. In this position, you will provide best-in-class customer support for our clients and work cross-functionally with internal teams to maximize the impact and value of Samba’s full suite of product offerings. The ideal candidates are expert campaign optimizers with an adept understanding of the various hierarchies and nuances of multiple DSPs who can take a dataset and turn it into insights that result in campaign extensions and incremental spend. This is a period of rapid growth for Samba and this is a high velocity team with an expanding book of clients and support requests. Requirements: must live within 50 miles of a Samba Office in Los Angeles or New York City. Required in office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze internal and client reports to provide tailored performance recommendations to our customers according to their preferred platforms, budgets, and KPIs
  • Drive revenue and through campaign extensions, incremental, and renewals
  • Oversee the health of brand/agency relationships as a vertical lead, guiding problem-solving discussions while demonstrating the value of Samba TV and providing innovative solutions 
  • Potentially travel to client’s offices or offsite locations to foster customer engagement
  • Partner with the Samba’s Revenue Org for the full life cycle of programmatic campaigns (planning + strategy, activation + troubleshooting, consultation + upselling/renewal)
  • Become the primary expert of our product offerings, proprietary tools, SSPs, and DMPs 
  • Lead cross-functional projects with product, research, data, finance, and sales operations to improve the programmatic workflow and customer experience
  • Help train and develop a performance-based team with a laser focus on delivering customer satisfaction and ROI to achieve company revenue growth objectives
  • Provide root cause analysis on pain points/workflow inefficiencies and develop best practices to improve processes around our programmatic offerings
  • Be the first point of escalation for applicable Vertical campaign and/or client issues 

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience, at least 1+ years building and managing a team (ad ops/data ops/technical account management/programmatic solutions, consulting)
  • 1-2 years experience in technical account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing technical role
  • Proven track record of building relationships with clients and managing multiple accounts with at least 1+ years of quota carrying experience
  • Hands on experience in Ad Servers, DSP, SSP, and DMPs with the ability to resolve delivery, discrepancy, creative, performance, and all other technical issues
  • Proficient in CRM tools such as SFDC and Project Management tools such as Jira
  • Deeply versed in the planning, buying, and evaluation of Programmatic platforms, suppliers, and strategies, including interaction with leading DSPs, SSPs, DMPs and Publishers 
  • Up-to-date on the latest and upcoming trend/tech in digital advertising, including video and programmatic landscapes and the ability to explain complex and technical issues to varied audiences, both internal and external
  • Exceptional analytical expertise in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL, and are adept at swiftly mastering various other tools and platforms
  • History of spearheading highly complex projects and delivering results on time
