A Bit About The Role

Reporting to the General Manager of Ad Tech, the Senior Vice President of Sales will lead our global sales initiatives in our Ad Tech Business Unit, to drive revenue growth, and enhance the effectiveness of our sales teams. This critical role demands a seasoned leader who has the tenacity and energy to relentlessly drive the sales process with their teams every week whilst having the ability to engage directly in closing large multi-million-dollar deals with the attention to detail and complex negotiation and deal making skills when required.

 

  • Develop strategic sales plans to expand our customer base, increase recurring revenue and solidify our market presence globally
  • Lead, inspire, and manage sales teams across the globe including Europe, the United States, and Australia, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals
  • Direct involvement in the negotiation and hands-on management of substantial, complex sales opportunities if and when required
  • Implement rigorous sales processes and cadences to drive the sales team to close significant deals effectively
  • Serve as a cultural touchpoint and coach to direct reports, fostering a positive, dynamic corporate culture and enhancing team performance
  • Champion the disciplined use of the Miller Heiman sales framework, or equivalent, and ensure its systematic implementation across all sales activities
  • Collaborate with executive peers to innovate and refine sales tactics and strategies
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and establish performance metrics to ensure continuous growth and competitive positioning
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers to foster business development opportunities

About You

  • Extensive experience in senior sales leadership roles, with a track record of managing large-scale, high-value deals in a global setting
  • 10+ years of global sales experience, with a focus on B2B software sales for Linear, Addressable, and Video-on-Demand Ad-Tech solutions in the broadcast and media industry
  • Proven track record of hitting and/or exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth understanding of and experience with strategic sales methodologies and pipeline management
  • The ability to present P&Ls and business cases to C-level management and other stakeholders to secure buy-in for new business opportunities
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of coaching direct reports and acting as a cultural leader within the organization
  • Strong analytical skills, with a robust understanding of sales metrics and the ability to oversee complex deal structures
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for maintaining profitable relationships and negotiating high-stakes deals
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work across different time zones
