Job Description

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer in Test. In this role, you will be responsible for developing automated tests and performing manual tests to build a modern and scalable OTT platform. We give you the opportunity to gain personal development in the Quality Assurance area and to provide support and mentoring to other QAs with their day-to-day work. 
 
Delivery teams are typically made up of around 5-8 Engineers and a Team Lead/Engineering Manager. Our teams are from various and diverse background and we welcome and encourage new perspectives and opinions openly. Most of the time we spend on building new features. We also maintain and extend the existing functionalities. We put the quality of our product as one of the primary objectives.

This role is based in Katowice and you will work on a hybrid basis. 

As our new SDET you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Create and maintain test cases covering product/feature requirements and help the teams test their software.
  • Develop automated tests.
  • Develop in the Quality Assurance area.
  • Mentor and support other QAs with their day-to-day work.
  • Provide documentation for delivered features.

You’ll have:

  • Commercial experience in manual and automated tests.
  • Knowledge of any tool for automating tests and any programming language (JavaScript preferred).
  • Experience with any CI tool (e.g. Jenkins).
  • Experience with GIT or another distributed version control.
  • Upper-intermediate English (min. B2 level) skills.
