Job summary
The Control Surfaces team is looking for an enthusiastic and talented software quality assurance tester to work on our award winning S1, Dock, Avid Control, and other control surfaces. The ideal candidate should share our passion for audio as well as demonstrate a talent for detail-oriented, persistent, and painstaking product testing.

Responsibilities
- Isolate, report, and track bugs and potential issues that users might encounter in our control surfaces such as the Avid S1, S3, S6, Dock, Avid Control, and Artist Series used in conjunction with Pro Tools and other Digital Audio Workstations
- Write and execute test cases
- Communicate with beta testers, validating and writing bug reports for issues found externally
- Review documents written by technical writers
- Work effectively in a multi-tasking and highly dynamic environment with teams based in North America and Europe
- Write, modify, and maintain automated test scripts
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with control surfaces and mixing consoles
- Experience with Control Surfaces, Pro Tools, or other Digital Audio Workstations
- Excellent software and hardware troubleshooting skills
- Interest in or experience with music and audio production
- Strong English language communication skills, written and verbal
- Some experience with scripting or coding
- Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and with distributed teams in different time zones.
