Business Controller

Full time Finance

Job Description

As a Business Controller you will play a vital role in scaling and growing our commercial capability and success. You will function as a key business partner to improve decision-making and enable success. You will be working closely with your key business stakeholders, supporting them with analysis and key take-aways to help them drive their business better. Additionally, you will be working closely with the business and the back-end business information management organization to visualize and solve business problems by applying your expertise in quantitative analysis and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and manage request and requirements from internal stakeholders together with Business Controlling team
  • Conceptualize, produce, and manage report and dashboard portfolio in PowerBI
  • Work proactively to structure, develop, and visualize the data from our datasets
  • Lead efforts for validating data in our data warehouse and models
  • Monthly closing - Sales, Revenue, PNL analysis and reporting, forecasting and financial planning
  • Sales Controlling - Set, track and follow-up on Sales owned KPIs (pipeline, order intake, activities, sales forecast, ARR), pricing analysis etc.
  • Ad-hoc analysis
  • Support on Group driven projects
  • Superuser of BI tool and platform
  • Part in developing the current and future BI and analysis strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in finance
  • 6+ years of relevant experience from a similar position.
  • Experience with accounting and / or financial controller is meriting
  • Strong skills in analyzing the full PNL and creating a reporting package, as well as creating and measuring relevant KPI:s.
  • Experience in BI tools to create and generate analysis and reports
  • Knowledge and experience in PowerBI usage and report creation
  • Base knowledge in data modelling, and preferably knowledge in SQL and/or M, R/Python
  • A driven, independent, and proactive way of working.
  • Analytical, structured, and well organized
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
