Job Description:

Metaphysic is seeking a dynamic and visionary Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale frontend solutions with a focus on React. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in HTML, CSS, JS, and TypeScript, along with a deep understanding of modern TypeScript design patterns and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize proven experience to deliver large-scale frontend solutions, with a particular emphasis on React.
• Demonstrate expertise in HTML, CSS, JS, and TypeScript to create efficient and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Apply strong knowledge of modern TypeScript design patterns and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Foster a strong understanding of UX principles, advocating for a user-centric approach in frontend development.
• Address web performance and security considerations in the development process.
• Exhibit a passion for functional-style web development and stay updated on the latest trends in the web development landscape.
• Work with state management libraries and GraphQL to optimize data flow and communication between frontend components.
• Possess good communication and influencing skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Have a general understanding of backend and database fundamentals to facilitate seamless integration with backend systems.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Explore backend technologies, including node-based applications, and demonstrate a willingness to engage with backend development when necessary.
• Utilize experience with Electron to contribute to projects leveraging this technology.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale frontend solutions with React.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong knowledge of modern TypeScript design patterns and best practices.
• Understanding of UX principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with web performance and security considerations.
• Experience with state management libraries and GraphQL.
• Good communication and influencing skills.
• General understanding of backend and database fundamentals.
• Ability to provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
• Experience building node-based applications is a plus.
• Experience with Electron is a plus.
• Willingness to dabble with backends from time to time is a plus.
