In this role you will lead the Trading team for Sales, responsible for delivering the in-quarter trading performance for that area. You will seek to continually look at all aspects of those Route to Market to ensure trading plans are optimised across inbound, outbound, messaging and commercial targets are achieved whilst staying on course to deliver longer term RTM strategy.
The successful candidate will be commercially focussed with the ability to lead a team, be an excellent communicator, and be able to manage multiple complex and competing KPIs to have a holistic view of Trading Performance across the RTM. They will need to be a strong collaborator across the various Product Teams, Customer Service Group, Finance, and Data teams as well as the wider Customer Growth team to ensure optimum performance is achieved by the Route to Market.

Role objectives:
Define the vision - Work with the Director of Voice to re-define strategy for your Route to Market including our ambition over next few years, the pillars to underpin this and what we need to deliver this which supports the long term vision our customers, our people & our business
Develop and deliver the plan for your Route to Market across all horizons (weekly, quarterly, annual) including the delivery of robust business cases/ mitigation plans to support delivery of core Commercial and Customer KPIs. Working closely with Product and Performance teams to create succinct Go to Market plans to seamlessly execute our key programme launches across the year into your Routes to Market.
Build a robust performance measurement framework so that we are able to understand and monitor the commercial impact of all Voice RTMs across our initiatives. Review & assess weekly/qtrly/annual performance, optimising to help meet Commerical and LRP targets regular basis
Unlock the insight that matters – Ensure team are focussed and working with the wider business to unlock the insight that matters, enabling us to continue to drive performance, influence key decisions and shape the future of your Route to Market. Use customer and market insight combined with a robust understanding of core commercial and customer KPIs to shape the strategy and support commercial and props teams in building business cases to deliver new offers and rewards for customers
Exceptional cross functional operator - Build excellent relationships with the wider business, (Customer Service Group, Digital, Retail, Product, Finance, Data and other internal teams) using your expertise and influence to ensure that they understand the value and opportunity within each of your Route to Market to include it as a core part of their strategy and plans
Future focussed - Define and deliver new and compelling insight to support decision making, finding new ways to support our advisors and engage customers.
Customer focussed – Be the Voice of the Customer ensuing insight gained across multiple tochpoints with our people and customers is used to influence key decision around propostional development and journeys.
High Performing team - Build, inspire and develop a high performing and motivated in team, delivering consistently high People Survey scores.
