• The role will work closely with a cross functional business stakeholders, business analysts, developers on a regular basis to collaborate, to gather requirements and to oversee the building and maintenance of an enterprise data warehouse and BI solution.
• The job duties will involve building and supporting Datamart’s, Data Lakes, Facts, Schemas, etc.
• This position will oversee the design and architecture of data (ETL) from multiple sources into the warehouse, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the data warehouse, identify, and resolve bottlenecks. Implement strategies for improving data retrieval, error handling and performance.
• Be able to transform business requirements into technical specifications.
• The role will require the ability to listen carefully to business needs, be able to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization including stakeholders, peers, and supervisor.
• Be able to work in a hybrid model, partly onsite and partly remote each week.

• The candidate should have 7 to 10 years of experience in Data warehousing and a solid understanding of relational databases.
• The candidate should have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle or similar databases. Should have strong experience designing and architecting ETL processes and have hands-on experience leading data extraction, data cleansing, data mapping, data transformation, data loading, and data validation using tools like Oracle, Informatica. Etc.
• Must have proven experience with data modeling, data management and data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Have experience architecting and designing Datawarehouse, BI dashboards, KPIs, metrics and reports.
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable architecting and leading an enterprise-wide data warehouse rollout. As part of this project, the candidate will be responsible for documenting technical specifications, providing workable solutions, architecting integrations and ETL, developing design documents, creating data mapping documents and technical diagrams, and implementing impactful Business Intelligence solutions for the business.
• Should have experience working with cloud and on-prem data sources.
• Strong understanding of SQL, ETL, designing data integrity and error handling techniques, and reviewing change history.
• Should have previous experience designing and implementing master data management.
• Should be able to collaborate with various team members to ensure accurate and reliable data analytics and BI solutions across the organization. Ensure the underlying data warehouse is scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Experience with recommending and converting data into meaningful insights and communicating the information via any data visualizations tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Oracle FAW, MicroStrategy, etc.
• Be comfortable with the full life cycle of Data Warehousing solution including architect, design, build, test and deploy.
• Work closely with IT management and project sponsors to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the phased data warehouse project, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Has experience evaluating and recommending new technologies and tools for data Insights and management.
• Experience gathering and integrating data from any ERP such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and be able to analyze various data sets such as supply chain data, finance data, revenue data, HR data, and marketing data.
• Experience working with historical data and point-in-time data.
