Salesforce Developer

Avid Technology is looking for a Salesforce CPQ Engineer to lead Quote-to-Cash (QTC) business process transformation, end-to-end CPQ implementation, and support of Salesforce CPQ solutions. The ideal candidate will be working closely with cross functional business teams, IT teams and external solution implementers. With broader Salesforce platform background and CPQ subject matter expertise, this role will be applying technical knowledge and industry leading best practices real-time across the enterprise.

What you'll do

• Serve as the top-level CPQ subject matter expert to deliver subscription centric CPQ solutions including (product and bundling setup, complex product configurations, pricing and discount rules, product rules, subscription management, order management and integrations with (CLM and PLM platforms)
• Partner with cross functional teams to drive overall QTC process transformation and implementation of multichannel CPQ solutions, enable unified product catalog that offers guided selling processes and enriched users experience while enabling Backoffice synchronization
• Collaborate with digital, channel and sales teams to develop architectural design, manage CPQ configurations and to design integrations with commerce engines and partner communities
• Lead and drive requirement gathering workshops, understand users’ needs and effectively transfer knowledge to our user community
• Assess needs for personalization efforts, eliminate customizations and enables out of the box solutions
• Maintain operational and compliance procedures around supported environments. Define and implement role/profiles, permissions, page layouts, templates, approvals, workflows, reports, and dashboards
• Develop comprehensive user training, users’ adoption plans and facilitate user demos

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related disciplines
• Solution-oriented with a minimum of 6+ years of proven implementation experience in Salesforce CPQ or similar technologies
• Strong expertise in Lead to Cash process areas
• Ability to recommend best practices and competence in advanced APEX programming, APIs and integrations.
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
• Experience with Salesforce Development, Lightning Components, Sales & Service Cloud and AppExchange
• Salesforce CPQ certification, Salesforce Sales cloud consultant (preferred)
