Job Description:

About the Role 

We are looking for ambitious movie-obsessed students to join our IMAX Internship Program this Summer! This 10-week program will focus on hands-on learning, skill development, and real-world work experience in a collaborative and innovative environment. This program will take place June-August in our (Playa Vista) office!  

 

Our Digital Products & Experiences team connects with movie fans around the world by managing the IMAX direct-to-consumer digital ecosystem, including imax.com, apps, and CRM. Are you passionate about data and uncovering actionable insights? Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Products & Experiences, this role will focus on developing reports on IMAX digital performance dive into fan ticket purchasing behaviors, film preferences, and more! 

 

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Partner with IMAX data and digital teams to analyze IMAX digital properties and ticket sales 

  • Establish a report or (reports) on IMAX digital conversion and performance 

  • Work with the Senior Director, Digital Products to glean opportunities for imax.com and fan communications 

  • Learn how owned digital marketing channels are built, managed, tracked, and connected 

  • Be an active part of online tickets on sale campaigns for IMAX Films, Special Events, and IMAX Documentaries 

 

What You’ll Need: 

  • A degree or pursuing a degree in Marketing/Communications, Data Science, or Analytics related fields 

  • Ability to use or familiarity with digital analytics tools including GA4 

  • Experience with converting data findings into tables, graphs, and/or data visualizations 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 

 

Nice to Have: 

  • Interested in user-centric experiences and storytelling with data 

  • Curiosity in digital products development and data-driven decision making 

  • Previous digital reporting experience 

  • Passion for IMAX, movies, filmmaking, or fan culture
