Limitless Broadcast are hiring a full-time Technical Project Manager to join their innovative team in Woking, Surrey. The Role

The ideal candidate will bring a team player, proactive, solution-oriented attitude with a passion for learning and growth. As a project manager, you'll manage a diverse client portfolio, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to drive planning and delivery of high-standard live broadcasts and technical services, remote and cloud productions.  In this role you’ll oversee the entire project lifecycle; from resource and crew management, client meetings, site visits and specification development, documentation and planning sheets.

Your Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the design and implementation of solutions needed on a project-by-project basis

  • Technical scoping  and production/planning meetings with clients, venues and suppliers

  • Lead on developing project briefs, quotations and then oversee implementation alongside others in the company

  • Maintaining logs, completing reports and system documentation

  • Planning and attending site visits or reccies, pre-production meetings and reviews

  • Providing managerial support and coordination on-site throughout each production, working alongside other crew, staff or freelancers depending on the project’s needs

  • Being the dependable and approachable point of contact for customers and the team throughout their project and after-care period

  • Research and understand new technologies and methods that help develop the company within the sector as we focus to innovate, research and maintain our reputation as leading-edge

  • Developing new systems and workflows to streamline delivery, improve performance or achieve new goals

  • Attend and contribute to strategy and planning meetings


Your Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Relevant experience in the live events, engineering and/or broadcast industry with an understanding of the complex technologies and requirements involved in delivery

  • Bachelor’s or technical degree in an applicable field is highly desirable

  • Ability to work within a team environment or independently depending on the project’s needs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and IT literacy

  • Methodical organisational, and time-management skills

  • Well-developed representational and interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role

  • Positive attitude towards improvement and development of processes and procedures

  • Ability to prioritise tasks based on their urgency

  • A proactive, dependable and team player approach ensuring your work supports the company’s endeavours 

  • Demonstrable understanding across a variety of areas such as cameras, sound, vision, connectivity, etc

  • A full driving licence and passport is highly desirable

  • Ability to work under pressure in a live environment and within programme requirements which will include working unsociable hours when required

There will be a requirement for travel within the UK and abroad, including overnight stays away from home. You must live within a regular commutable distance of our head office in Woking, Surrey. We have free parking available on-site. 


This is a full time permanent role based on a flexible 40-hour work week. Your standard contract will be working rota’d 5 days in any 7; including across weekends, with the potential for additional overtime during busy periods.
