The Talent Development Manager will work collaboratively with the Talent Development team, the People Business Partners and leaders to create and deliver talent and development initiatives and programs across the company. This position will build out programs aligned with the company objectives and department priorities to increase the capabilities of the leaders and staff and reinforce a collaborative and inclusive culture.
The Talent Development Manager will lead projects related to design, development, management, and continuous improvement in the following areas: Manager & Leader Development, Learning and Capability Development, DEI Awareness and Inclusive Leadership, Performance Management, and Career Development.
What You'll Do:
Identify talent gaps and design strategies to address them through various design and development programs and initiatives including Talent Reviews, Succession planning, Employee Engagement Surveys, DEI, and Culture. Execute solutions and strategies in a collaborative partnership with People Business Partners
Lead the research, recommendation, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of accessible and inclusive training solutions to address development gaps
Develop and identify accessible learning and development programs that cater to diverse employee needs and promote inclusivity
Analyze data and metrics to measure effectiveness of talent development programs and make data driven recommendations for improvement
Facilitate and coach learners to help improve their skills
Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and training requirements applicable to the organization
Coordinate internal communications and activities for the People team to ensure clarity and alignment
Manage the companywide compliance training program to ensure full participation and completion of required training
Manage the LMS platform (Workday)
Manage the performance management process
What You'll Need:
Undergraduate degree or postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or related field
Certification in Training and Development
Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in learning and development, talent development and project management
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with a strong ability to interpret and analyze data/findings gathered to identify trends and commonalities
Ability and initiative to understand business needs, analyze issues, and drive solutions
Effective communication skills to convey complex ideas and critical information to stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and influence all employees across the organization
Highly collaborative, self-starter able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the principles of organizational development and adult learning and education
Proven experience creating and facilitating talent management programs designed to meet the needs of employees at various levels
Curriculum development experience with the ability to create content designed to meet the needs of employees at various levels
Experience with project and program management including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia and Vyond
Experience with employee engagement surveys
High degree of emotional intelligence and maturity
Strong facilitation and coaching skills
Experience working with Workday Learning application (LMS)
Ability to toggle between strategic and tactical work
DEI experience a plus
