Position Overview
The Distribution Operator is responsible for conducting physical operations and distribution services for the Media Logistics department. Tasks include replication and distribution of Digital Cinema Packages (DCP) and Publicity Materials Logistics (Posters, Flyers, DVDs).
Primary Responsibilities
Perform all operations assignments in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, in accordance with established procedures
Locate and extract content from inventory for ingest and packing for shipment
Communicate and effectively report all issues in a timely manner
Work closely and effectively with Client Services and affiliated teams
Perform operations within Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer environments
Operate the forklift in a safe and consistently conservative manner (if licensed to do so)
Assist in general warehouse and any other office duties as required
Adhere to Deluxe Workplace Health and Safety policy and procedure
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in team based working environments
Experience operating technical equipment
Ordering and scheduling system experience
A current forklift license with high reach experience (preferred, but not essential)
Competencies
Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
Work competently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing and repetitive tasks
Positive attitude and attention to detail
Problem solving skills and ability to work autonomously
Competent computer skills – MS Office Suite
Ability to learn and operate Deluxe’s Work Order Systems, Big apple, Kraken, etc.
