Position Summary
The Scheduling Co-ordinator plays a crucial role to ensure all operational areas have an achievable, balanced portion of tasks per shift, assessing work within a global framework.
Sitting between client teams and operations, the Scheduling Co-ordinator is the internal go-to for production queries relating to capacity, resource, and prioritisation of tasks.
The Scheduling team collectively oversee and have ownership of project timelines from start to finish.
We maintain a project-based forecast to assist in our planning and preparation of all operational teams’ resource and capacity. We continuously learn & recognise client trends to efficiently build out accurate plans of action.
Role and Responsibilities
Schedule tasks to deliver content as per client delivery requirements.
Manage the prioritisation of operational queues, facilitating the production process to ensure client deadlines are met and operational teams are working within capacity.
Monitor, create and manage all internal theatre bookings at a global level.
Maintenance of production forecasts.
Provision of various reports as per business requirements.
Attend and facilitate client team and operational meetings globally relating to existing and new projects.
Build a rapport with all global teams and establish excellent working relationships.
Provide general support and assistance for all teams globally where required.
Raise any capacity/operational/forecasting concerns with Head of Scheduling for remediation.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experiece of scheduling or bookings systems, as well as:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and within a team
Highly diligent approach to work is essential due to the technical nature and varying complexity of projects.
Ability to listen and engage different cultures and perspectives
Experience within the film or television broadcast industry is desirable but not a must
