Job Description

DAZN is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions that power our global sports streaming service. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets coding standards and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in production and provide timely resolutions.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.


  • 5+ years of experience in Java software development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring framework, and related technologies.
  • Experience with web services development using RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with software development tools, such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • In-depth knowledge of TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS and Azure.
  • Familiarity with front-end web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, such as JUnit and Mockito.
