What you'll bring:
Architectural Design: Lead the design and development of content metadata solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and adhere to best practices in event-driven architecture, microservices and OTT streaming ecosystems
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring the successful implementation of architectural patterns, data streaming, and best practices.
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions that meet business needs, including data integration and streaming requirements.
Stakeholder management: as solution owner you’ll be responsible to clearly communicate the solution to different levels of stakeholders. You’ll need to be able to act as “elevator” talking the right language of the audience, ranging from developers to product and business stakeholders.
Solution Implementation: Hands-on involvement in building and implementing content metadata solutions, including designing and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, microservices, and data streaming architecture.
Database Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of database systems to design efficient and scalable data storage and retrieval solutions, including both relational and NoSQL databases.
Integration Patterns: Define and implement robust integration patterns, ensuring seamless data flow between different systems and data sources.
Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges, proposing and implementing optimizations as needed, including database performance tuning.
Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for integration into the content metadata ecosystem, with a focus on streaming technologies and database innovations.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data
flow diagrams, technical specifications, and integration patterns.
What you'll bring:
Passion for technology and its application to solving business problems with proven experience in some of the technologies we use, that include platforms like Kafka, K8s, Istio, cloud services onGCP and/or AWS;
Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a Solution Architect, with a focus on Metadata or data.
In-depth knowledge of event-driven architecture, Kafka, AMQ, ETLprocesses, microservices architecture, integration patterns, and streaming architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in database systems, including both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
