What you'll do
The Platform Manager for Linux Endpoints will orchestrate Sky's Linux endpoint management strategy. This pivotal role entails overseeing the deployment of Ubuntu 22.04 LTSB on Dell devices and Citrix VDIs. Balancing Sky's technological objectives, cybersecurity policies, and user experience expectations, the Platform Manager will lead a team of Technical Specialists across the UK and Chennai.
Oversee the Linux endpoint management platform, Tanium, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Implement and uphold cybersecurity standard processes.
Manage endpoint vulnerabilities using tools like Service Now, coordinating with teams for remediation.
Steer the Linux Build service based on documentation guidelines.
Collaborate with business developers to refine and expand the service offering.
Engage with third-party vendors, like Dell, and Tanium, ensuring efficient device compatibility and support.
Lead virtual teams at all levels, adopting Agile methodologies.
Represent the Linux endpoint team in discussions, product launches, and other projects.
Troubleshoot business incidents on the Linux endpoint estate.
Supervise and report on Linux endpoint activities, ensuring timely business reporting
What you'll bring
Proven experience in Linux platform management, especially endpoint management.
Familiarity with Tanium and its integration with Ubuntu.
Strong leadership skills with experience leading technical teams.
Proficiency in modern device management solutions such as MS Intune, JAMF, Azure/AD, Tanium.
Knowledge of device hardening, CIS, and security base lining.
Outstanding collaboration and partner leadership skills.
Experience in concurrent small/medium-scale program analysis.
Proficiency in script creation for automation.
Strong analytical skills to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Background in Cyber Security, Audit, or Workplace Management is a plus.
