Job Description

Reality Check Solutions EMEA, a broadcast graphics and digital technology company based in the UK, is seeking a Realtime Artist.

The Company

RCS works with some of the world's leading broadcasters, federations, eSports producers and digital content creators, providing graphics packages, bespoke software solutions and cloud-based data services. We are based in California but we operate a remote working model with most of our team able to work from home.

We have a UK presence to service and support clients in the UK, mainland Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The Role

We are seeking a Realtime Artist with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a broadcast graphics production or operational environment. You will be working on a variety of projects across multiple platforms, typically with a focus on live sport.

This is a full time, permanent, home-working position, with some occasional travel to the UK base in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, or to client locations for project-specific launch support.

Requirements | Essential

  • Excellence in Vizrt (Artist, Engine, Trio) and/or Ross XPression
  • Proficiency in advanced techniques such as scripting, Transition Logic/visual logic and data interfacing
  • Knowledge of 3D content creation software such as Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D and Maya
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Willingness to learn new software and share knowledge with other team members
  • Ability to use initiative and to achieve agreed goals with minimal oversight
  • Exceptional levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Excellent creativity with a passion for innovation in design and animation
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with team members, often across multiple time zones
  • Willingness to sometimes work or be on call outside of conventional working hours

Requirements | Desirable

  • Experience of using Singular.live or HTML5
  • Good understanding of broadcast and digital production, especially in the context of live sport
  • Knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Premiere
  • Willingness to travel overseas to support project launches
