Trainee BATCAM Broadcast Engineer

BATCAM is looking for a trainee broadcast engineer who is an enthusiastic, positive thinker, self starter, lover of tech, problem solver and open minded to learn many new skills. If you are reading this and are confident at least 50% of the above applies then we want to hear from you.
Who are we?
BATCAM is the UK leader in live aerials from our BATCAM UAV systems. We work weekly on large scale events, from Premier League to Champions League football to Horse Racing, Cricket, Rugby, Athletics, plus regular non-live shoots for commercials & dramas. We also work on international projects such as International football tournaments and other major international sporting events. We regularly work with blue-chip clients such as BT Sport, Sky, BBC, Amazon, DAZN and ITV. As well as our aerial systems we have a suite of specialist cameras including wire and rail camera systems. We have multiple gimbals, from SHOTOVER, Extreme Cameras, Movi Pro’s and DJI Ronin.
The new engineer will be part of the day to day operations of the company based in Epping, Essex. Office days, requires troubleshooting and fixing equipment, to prepping kit for future events. We are particularly looking for someone who can learn or has experience of RF transmission systems. As new equipment/tech arrives at BATCAM we are looking for people who can quickly get stuck in and learn new technology quickly. Someone who pursues the best possible quality and can always find fault in their work.
