Delivery & Tech Support Assistant

Salon, the UK's longest established editing equipment hire company is expanding.

We're looking to add a Delivery & Tech Support Assistant to our team. 

A great opportunity for someone interested in starting out in the support / technical side of post.

No experience required.

About the Role
The chosen candidate will primarily assist our tech support/engineering team in the maintenance, preparation, delivery & setup of our extensive rental fleet of post-production editing equipment including Avid, Adobe, and Apple editing systems and storage. 

An ideal position for someone looking to start out in the industry or move up from an entry-level running job and keen to work in a small friendly, family run team where hard work is recognised and rewarded.

You will be based out of our NW10 warehouse but frequently traveling around London and the surrounding areas as well as further afield as and when required (UK and sometimes abroad).

Day-to-day tasks will include:

• Delivering & Collecting equipment to/from clients
• Assisting in the setup, de-rig and moving of equipment
• General maintenance & cleaning of equipment
• General warehouse duties including scanning in/out kit and preparing orders.

About the Candidate
No prior knowledge of the equipment is required. A basic understanding of Apple Mac & PCs would be advantageous.

Essential requirements:

• Full UK driving license & UK Passport
• Able & Prepared to lift and carry heavy equipment
• Good communication skills & attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and be friendly and approachable to clients.

Details
Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm - There will sometimes be a requirement to work outside of our normal working hours when a project demands it so applicants must be prepared to be flexible.
