We have an exciting opportunity for a Video Editor to join the Social & Online team on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract.
Our YouTube and social channels are fuelled by a team of video experts who research content, edit videos, and develop ideas. Your work as a Video Editor will directly contribute towards growing our online presence and digital revenue for Dave, W, and Yesterday.

A typical day might include watching a UKTV Original show (such as Meet The Richardsons or Bangers & Cash) and using your knowledge of digital audiences to turn the episode into clips and compilations that will be loved by fans on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
You could be working with famous faces on set for a YouTube companion series to promote David Mitchell’s Outsiders, or collaborating with the wider team to develop social content ideas that will help launch a shiny new hobby series.
This role will report into the Video Manager sitting within the Social Video team, and be responsible for managing one Junior Video Editor.
In this role you will get to:
- Research, edit and deliver best-in-class digital video that reaches an audience of millions.
- Be an active part of a growing, award-winning Social team.
- Develop content ideas featuring your favourite stars across comedy, entertainment and factual programming.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated editing skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- A rock solid understanding of the digital video landscape. You know how online audiences think, and exactly what a good thumbnail and effective hook looks like on each platform.
- The desire to manage and develop a Junior Editor.
- A genuine passion for TV (especially comedy and factual genres).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organisation.
Who you are:
- Strong video editing skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Strong understanding of social video platforms
- Strong content design skills in Photoshop, especially for YouTube thumbnails
- Good ability to communicate with stakeholders of different levels
- Some experience mentoring junior roles
