DEMO AND EXHIBITION ENGINEER

As a result of our continued growth, Riedel Communications is looking to hire a talented and motivated candidate to join our Demo & Exhibitions team.
Your responsibilities
Riedel Communications is looking for a Demo & Exhibition Engineer to prepare and deliver tailored, solution-oriented demos for our clients:
• Learn and understand products and systems used for demos and exhibitions and maintaining and developing knowledge of our technology;
• Ensure the correct products and inventory are prepared for the requested demo and trade shows;
• Ensure that all equipment and accessories are clean, in excellent condition, have a valid PAT testing certificate, in good working order and safe to use at all times;
• Maintain facilities and demo rooms as required;
• Work in collaboration with the Pre-Sales and Projects Engineering team to prepare for demos and POC’s;
• Work in collaboration with the Project Engineering team and continuously learn and optimise the setup of the demo kit and exhibition equipment;
• Observe health and safety with regards to equipment, personnel, clients and members of the public (ie. safe packaging, electrical and electricity safety, moving and handling).
Who are you?
Expertise
· Relevant professional work experience in the broadcast, AV, technology or manufacturing industry, preferably in an international business environment is an advantage;
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject is an advantage;
· Empathy, networked thinking, forward-looking and -planning actions as well as strong organisational skills;
· Excellent level of written and spoken English, German or other language would be an advantage;
· Willingness to travel to trade shows
