We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager VoD UKTV Play to join the Marketing team.

Reporting into the VOD Marketing Manager, the main purpose of this role is to support the UKTV Play team on UKTV Play’s multi-media campaigns & execution, and digital performance marketing activity, helping to deliver against the UKTV Play’s key business objectives. You will be an integral part of the team, helping us bring the brand to life through integrated communications. 

You will be responsible for managing and supporting quarterly promotional campaigns across our own airtime, marketing touchpoints, activating digital media, as well as supporting or owning parts of  larger projects. 

You will support brand campaign delivery across paid media and be a brand guardian for our brand. You will align closely with other members of the team – creating marketing plans that drive customers through the funnel and support the wider team where needed. 

In this role you will get to: 
  • Learn how to create campaigns that drive audiences to UKTV Play, and bring the brand’s positioning to life
  • Learn how to support and lead on digital marketing projects and performance 
  • Lead multiple projects concurrently from inception to implementation, marketing delivery and evaluation
  • Collaborate across teams, functions and agencies to help deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns 
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders

We are looking for someone who has:
  • A genuine passion and interest in entertainment and/or broadcasting 
  • An understanding of the TV industry, content, and key competitors 
  • A hunger to develop digital marketing skillset, and build strong brands 
  • Keen to take ownership and lead on campaigns 
  • Can understand performance data, apply learnings, and looking for new ideas to test and learn from. 
  • Is curious about all things digital, from platforms, to tracking and communicating to consumers and new prosects at each step through the customer journey 
  • Keen to learn about creative best practice in digital acquisition and loves the idea of being able to use a rich bank of editorial content in your campaigns. 
  • A sound understanding of a range of marketing techniques and demonstratable experience at driving results 
  • Experience in project management and examples of taking a project through from inception, implementation, delivery and evaluation 
  • Experience in internal and external stakeholder management
