Head of Growth Fund
S4C’s commercial arm, S4C Masnachol, is launching a Growth Fund: an investment fund to invest in businesses close to and aligning to S4C’s remit, that have potential for growth and to deliver strategic and financial returns. S4C is looking for a Head of Growth Fund that will lead the activity on S4C’s Growth Fund, overseeing investment in companies that are aligned with the Fund’s strategic objectives and work in partnership with invested companies to support them in achieving successful growth.
Your main duties will include overseeing the S4C Masnachol Growth Fund with accountability for its performance, promoting the work of the fund, with a particular focus on building strong networks across the creative economy in Wales, and working with potential investees to ensure that they work effectively with S4C Masnachol during the investment process and ensuring that potential investees are ‘investment ready.’
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this role.

Further Details
Location: S4C has offices in Carmarthen, Cardiff and Caernarfon. In addition, it offers hybrid working. You will be expected to travel to wherever S4C reasonably requires, from time to time.
Salary: Salary plus bonus dependant on experience
Contract: Permanent
Probation Period: 6 months
Hours: 35.75 hours per week. Flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role including some weekend and on-call hours.
Holidays: In addition to statutory bank holidays, you will be entitled to 26 days paid annual leave, which runs from 1 January. (Please note that the annual leave will be pro rata if working part time).
Pension: Paid staff are entitled to join a Group Personal Pension Scheme subject to the terms of any existing scheme which is amended from time to time. If you are a member of the Group Personal Pension Scheme, S4C Masnachol will contribute 10% of your basic salary to the Scheme. You will be expected to contribute 5%.
