We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paid Social Creative to join the Creative team.
As a Senior Paid Social Creative at UKTV you will be instrumental in bringing to life the social media content for paid advertising across both our VOD service and our channel brands. You will be the paid social expert within the creative team, working to come up with new ideas as well as translate existing ideas for the social media space that drive connection with our audiences. You will help us story tell our campaign and brand ideas more effectively within the social media space.
In this role you will get to:
- Be responsible for generating brilliant social platform creative for our VOD service as well as our channel brands, that drive talk ability and engagement with our multiple audiences.
- Lead creative output for paid social media assets across but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok
- Be the social media lead within our 360 creative workflow process, working closely with the creative, design and social team to bring creative ideas to life that work best for social platforms
- Work closely with social team to lead creative responses to support paid media strategy
- Produce, shoot and edit bespoke social content with talent.
- Work with media owners including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on best practice and look at innovative ways to use social media to deliver our campaign objectives
- Be the glue between the social team & creative team, ensuring social assets are aligned with campaigns & brand
- Present creative approach and assets to internal stakeholders
We are looking for someone who has:
- Has a genuine passion for TV and social media with an understanding of what captures people’s attention.
- Has a native understanding of social media platforms and paid advertising formats.
- Has social-first thinking: a flair for storytelling across different social media contexts, with an understanding of user experience and nuances per platform.
- Has the ability to translate big ideas into the social space as well as the ability to generate new idea that start in the social space
- Is comfortable taking a brief, interpreting it and responding with ideas that are creatively fresh but also completely on brief
- Is creative: knows what will capture attention on social media.
- Can be a project lead: you will be the guardian of your own ideas, responsible for executing and protecting them through the production and sign-off processes, solely responsible for the final creative output
- Is ambitious: you have a restless desire to create genuinely great work. As a Senior Paid Social Creative you lead by example and set the tone for the rest of the team, ensuring the work created is always kept to a high standard
Who you are:
- Have experience in paid social and demonstrate understanding of different formats and best practice
- Passion for TV and the advertising industry
- Experience with video editing and familiarity with rights restrictions
- An ability to multi-task on a variety of different projects and prioritising a heavy workload.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across a number of departments and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead on paid social creative (ideas, development and execution) across the network.
- Produce campaign content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok, with a bespoke approach to content creation dependant on formats, platforms and user experience.
- Work closely with the creative team, design team and social team to ensure all paid social assets are in line with brand & campaign objectives, strategy and ideas to ensure 360 approach.
- Creative idea generation for shoots, social engagement ideas, amplification ideas to support our VOD and channel brand campaigns, including leading on shoots for all paid social campaigns
- Proactively bring social media ideas, opinions and best practice to the table and embed social media into the 360 creative process
- Reporting to the Creative Manager and liaising with Marketers and social media lead, ensure that all work is delivered on brief and adheres to the brand guidelines but at the same time stands out and engages the target audience.
- Collaborate with our agency partners to ensure joined up thinking across different advertising and social platforms
- Demonstrates an understanding of our VOD platform and channel brands, content, target consumers, and growth strategies; ensuring that creative work fits the task in hand
- Proactively seeks to optimise work, responding to campaign performance and iterating creative to drive highest impact
