We have an exciting opportunity for a UI/UX Designer to join the Commercial team.
You will constantly be striving to improve the product, being influenced by new technology and the constantly changing VoD landscape.
This is a great chance to work for a forward-thinking media company, supporting the UX/UI lead to shape the future of television with high profile consumer-oriented products across a number of platforms.
In this role you will get to:
- Evolve and support the user experience across our direct to consumer digital products
- Look after design projects from concept to implementation across web, mobile and TV applications
- Rapidly develop concepts, sketches and prototypes for testing
- Translate concepts into UX flows, wireframes and visual designs and work closely with the development team to get them launched
- Collaborate with product owner, project managers and design colleagues in running workshops, user research and testing
- Create documentation to communicate the vision, including but not limited to wireframes and flowcharts
- Champion the design department’s UX/UI related work, guiding future approaches to UX/UI.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design and usability testing
- Confident in using data and insights to inform design and measure impact
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Confident presentation and storytelling abilities
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools such Figma
- Portfolio that showcases your contribution to products and demonstrates originality, innovation, and strong problem solving skills
Some or all experience in:
- Mobile app design across iOS and Android
- Mobile first, adaptive and responsive design techniques
- Design of application interfaces for TV screens and be aware of design differences between ‘1ft’, ‘3ft’ and ‘10ft’ screens
- Agile project management processes, including standups, working within sprints, planning and retrospectives
