We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Insight Manager to join the Insight team. 

The Digital Insight Manager will support the Head of Digital Insight on initiatives and help to build and maintain a centre of excellence for digital Insight 
 
This role has a direct impact on the audience, through recommendations into marketing/advertising, VOD scheduling, social media, platform developments and new digital opportunities (e.g. Podcasts, Audio, FAST Channels).  You will reflect the voice of the consumer in all advice and guidance given to facilitate the growth of UKTV’s digital products and services. 

In this role you will get to:  
Interrogate Piano data to identify user journeys, patterns and trends in the user data and feed back to the product, marketing and editorial teams with insights to enhance performance.  You will utilise your knowledge of the media landscape and other available data to provide a holistic view of the audience across all platforms.
 
Be integral to monitoring, communicating and translating performance on KPIs and penalties, and be fully conversant on targets, the current forecast and the driving factors.  
 
You will get the opportunity to lead on key digital projects (qual and quant) and trackers, and use your experience to reenergise, adapt and create new ways to visulise and present insights to various audiences.
 
Relationship management is key to success in this role.  You will facilitate decision-making by influencing and advising right up to exec level.  

We are looking for someone who has:
  • Experience of working in a VOD Insight function 
  • High level of proficiency in working with digital and VOD metrics / digital tools (Piano)
  • Fully conversant with market/competitor knowledge to make sound business judgements
  • Strong knowledge of different research techniques and their uses alongside other methodologies

  • Adept at combining metrics from various sources
  • A deep understanding of TV metrics, and the ability to combine TV and VOD data sources to measure total consumption and facilitate the understanding of holistic audience behaviour.
  • Experience of commissioning quant and qual research 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent IT, written and numeracy skills
  • Advanced use of Excel and PowerPoint to manipulate and present data to a high standard
  • Robust understanding of advancements in Barb measurement of non-linear activity
