Picture Shop London are looking for an experienced Post Producer to join their talented Unscripted Production team.
You will be expected to manage post production on a variety of unscripted genres and you will facilitate the projects as they progress through the facility, helping to build strong working relationships with clients old and new.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of productions as they progress through the facility, ensuring smooth handovers, liaising between internal departments (sales, operations, creatives and accounts) as well as with clients, responding quickly to requests and any problems that may arise.
- Carefully book in projects based on the agreed quotations and on the production's post schedule. Pre-empting potential issues and planning ahead where possible.
- Effectively monitor projects making sure they deliver on schedule and within budget, promptly reporting any extra costs should they arise.
- Accurately report to clients on final costings and promptly invoice projects in good time and as per agreed terms.
- Regularly feeding back to sales any appropriate information regarding status of current projects, possible sales leads or potential new business.
- Co-operating with the other Post Producers to ensure best utilization of resources across all jobs.
- You will be capable of understanding, pitching and quoting all aspects of post production undertaken by the business in a professional manner to promote Picture Shop’s brand and service offering.
- You will proactively maintain and develop productive relationships with all Picture Shop's existing clients.
- Advise clients on best technical practice and most efficient post production workflows and manage these workflows throughout the project.
- To assist, when requested, cover for other post producers during times of absence.
- You will keep yourself abreast of new technologies as they are adopted by the company from time to time and take an interest introducing them to our client base.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience-
Essential:
- A minimum of two years' post production experience with a demonstrable track record of success.
- Experience working across a range of genres.
- A good knowledge of post production workflows, technologies and terminologies.
- Good numeracy, literacy and writing skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working on projects for streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of ScheduAll software.
- A good practical knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software, database management and invoicing systems.
