The Role

 

As a Display Technician focusing on LED, projection and flatscreen display technology, you will generally be part of a larger team for the setup and operation of equipment in projects spanning our primary markets of Corporate, Music & Entertainment and Sport & Broadcast and ensuring smooth delivery and meeting client expectations. Additional duties shall include in-house preparation of equipment, where possible and appropriate.

 

The ability to progressively work more efficiently and proactively deliver technical work to the required quality and standard is central to the Display Technician’s role.

 

Responsibilities

 

Key

 

  • Onsite setup, operation and dismantling of display equipment.
  • Acceptance and integration of any sub-hired equipment from third party suppliers.
  • Assist non-CT staff, ensuring CT best practices and upholding core values.
  • Adherence to current Health & Safety legislation and working practices, including PPE use.

 

Other

 

  • Assisting the prep team to prepare projects for which you are directly involved.
  • Assist with other prep during busy periods.
  • Assist with the setup, operation and dismantling of equipment used for in-house demonstrations.
  • Develop an understanding with the ability to operate, as required, the other parts of the audio-visual system.

  • Relevant industry experience 
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above (including Maths and English).
  • A-levels, or equivalent qualification.
