We are looking for a skilled Audio Operator to join our team to QC the audio output across live broadcasts. As a key member of the production team, they will prepare and execute immediate audio requests and duties while working as part of a high performing team in a collaborative environment. Working with the very latest Calrec desks and Riedel panels which will help to ensure the global audio output for talent, team/players, and in-game audio is of the highest quality.
The ideal candidate will need to be a clear and confident communicator, able to adapt quickly to onair changes and remain calm under pressure. The aim will be to ensure a quality audio presentation that informs and inspires viewers and audiences from all around the world.
In this role, the Audio Op will be an integral part of the organization’s Audio Department and they will report to the Audio Lead and Production Manager. The position is based in the greater Dublin area. The position may require international travel on occasion.
If successful, the position will be assigned to Project Stryker, the Remote Broadcast Centre owned and operated by Riot Games. The Audio Op will work across the Riot Games’ Esport broadcasts featuring championships and tournaments from titles; League of Legends, Wild Rift and Valorant. They will be working with the latest technology in the most advanced Remote Broadcast Centre in the World.
Responsibilities
This position will have access to all broadcasting audio feeds and, as such, must be managed with great integrity. Professional and best practice behaviours in this role are essential at all times.
