Calling all experienced Media Lawyers! Aardman’s multi-award-winning Bristol based studio needs you to work in-house on a maternity cover contract.
The role of the Business Affairs department is to provide commercial advice and legal services to all Pillars within Aardman: Production, Development, Operations and Sales & Marketing.
As part of the team, this role will have responsibility for managing Aardman’s brand protection strategy, and will be the lead lawyer on numerous production projects and shall be the point person for negotiating merchandise licences.
Experience of IP and media law is essential. Applicants should have experience of licensing and acquiring intellectual property rights. You’ll also be commercially astute with a grasp of the opportunities to fully utilise our products across all media. Candidates will need experience of working in an in-house team.
Applicants should have excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and negotiation skills. You should be a highly motivated, proactive self-starter, with a positive and flexible approach to work.
